Ivy leaf in copper with labradorite

This necklace is made from a genuine ivy leaf that has been plated with copper using a galvanic process. The leaf is still inside the pendant, immortalizing a small piece of nature in all its beauty in copper. The details of the leaf are still clearly visible despite the sturdy copper coating.
 A dark blue labradorite was incorporated as a gemstone.
 The piece was coated with a patina, polished to give it a finish, and finally sealed to prevent the copper from oxidizing.
 The pendant comes on a black cotton cord with sliding knots, so the length can be individually adjusted.
